Luca Ciandrini
Maître de Conférences at the University of Montpellier and the Institut Universitaire de France. His research sits at the interface of statistical mechanics and quantitative biology, with a focus on gene expression mechanisms and cellular resource allocation.
Philippe Fuchs
PhD student working on gene expression and growth laws in bacteria, with a particular interest in RNAP-limiting conditions and the role of osmolytes. Co-supervised with Marco Cosentino Lagomarsino.
Maryalbis Patiño
PhD student since October 2024, working on the experimental characterisation of cellular physiology. Co-supervised with Ashley Nord.
Maryam Sultani
Master intern in 2025. She is working on obtaining reliable and reproducible bacterial growth curves using micro-reactors and plate readers — laying careful experimental groundwork for the group's quantitative models.
Pascal Silvan Rogalla
Engineer. Pascal first joined as an Erasmus intern in 2017 and has now returned as a full member of the team. His work focuses on developing a theoretical framework linking mRNA translation and the formation of molecular condensates.
